HISTORY:
The Rochester Homeopathic Hospital founded in 1887 in New York.
The founding of the Homeopathic hospital came about as a result of the efforts of several of Rochester’s leading Homeopathic physicians led by Dr. Charles Sumner and few other civic leaders.
The Rochester Homeopathic Hospital School of Nursing opened December 1 of 1889, which became a leader in the professionalization of nursing.
In the image: The Women's Motor Corps provided a delivery van for use as a temporary ambulance after the hospital's ambulance was wrecked in an automobile accident.
