Colon Cancer

Definition

Colon cancer is cancer of the large intestine (colon), the lower part of your digestive system. Rectal cancer is cancer of the last several inches of the colon. Together, they're often referred to as colorectal cancers.

Most cases of colon cancer begin as small, noncancerous (benign) clumps of cells called adenomatous polyps. Over time some of these polyps become colon cancers.

Polyps may be small and produce few, if any, symptoms. For this reason, doctors recommend regular screening tests to help prevent colon cancer by identifying polyps before they become colon cancer.

Here I am reprint the statement written by Dr Eli G Jones, MD ' Cancer Its causes, Symptoms and Treatment'

Section Two: Surgery Not A Cure For Cancer Page: 25.

Tare are about 50,000 people who diw of cancer in the United States annually. From my own experience in treatment of cancer in all its form, for forty years, I feel confident that ninety-five percent of these cases could have been saved without an operation.

Over the tombstones of most of them might be written " Butchered in the name of science"

For the last 200 years the great mass of the medical profession have considered cancer as local disease, and they have made it their practice to cut everything that look like a cancer.

Dr Walsh in his his able work on cancers, says, that" The knife can neither be regarded as a means of curing cancer or of prolonging the existence of the person afflicted with the disease.

Dr Thomas W Cooke, surgeon of the Cancer Hospital, London, England says," From 1851 to 1863 thera are 413 cases of cancer operated on at the Cancer Hospital, London. The average time before the cancer returned was only 6 1/2 months."

Dr Monroe of Scotland, operated on " 60 cases of cancer at the end of two years , only 4 out of 60 operations were successful."
