Homeopathic aid for childless couples
From New Straits Times 1 January 2001

Kuala Lumpur: Sun.- Childless couples now need not wait long for the arrival of the stork as there are various methods, both modern and traditional, to help them become parents.

These methods include artificial insemination and in-vitro fertilization for sterile individuals.

However many couples are not aware of the help they can obtain from homeopathic treatment.

Homeopathic practitioners and also president of Homeopathic Medical Practitioner of Malaysia Prof Dr Sir Nik Omar bin Nik Daud said homeopathic treatment was a very safe way especially for childless Malaysian couples who were reluctant to go through 'other methods' practiced in conventional medicine.

Dr Nik Omar, who has more than 23 years experience in homeopathy, said that the ' Homoeopathic Therapeutic of Infertility' HTI P 2000 formula wan the alternative treatment for sterile couples.

He said the HTI P2000 formula did not involve ant surgery or the use of scheduled drugs or antibiotic and instead relied 100 per cent on natural remedies.

The method uses homeopathic floral and fauna extracts as its main ingredients.

Among the flowers used are Marigolds, Pulsatilla, Chammomilla, lilies, etc.

Dr Nik Omar said couples facing 'problems' would be required to undergo the treatment for eight months.

"The HTI P 2000 method of treatment is not only the first in Malaysia but also the first in the world, " he said

He said the method was introduced in 1977 using the HTI P30 Formula One which took one year for the result to be seen.

" The present HTI P2000 Formula Three is the result of development and research held to improve the original formula One and Formula Two HTI P1000.

He said the patient's medical and family histories would have to be taken into consideration in order to decide on the homeopathic substances needed before commencing the treatment.

Dr Nik Omar said the cost of HTI P 2000 formula is not expensive when compared with conventional treatment.

"The person will only have to spend less than RM 1,000 for eight months of treatment."

Apart form attending to local couples. Dr Nik Omar has also treated patients from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, German, English, Indian, Brunei, Singapore, Philippines and Thailand.

Since the homeopathic formula was introduced by Dr Nik in 1977 till now, more than 1,000 couples have managed to have children after undergone the treatment, he claimed. - Bernama
